SEMA Attendees Treated to Corvette Grand Sport Eye Candy
GM’s Heritage Package a Sweet Eye-Full!

Upon reading about all the action at SEMA, I see that Corvette watchers got an unexpected eye-full at the Show last week. Just when you might have thought the new Grand Sport couldn’t get any sweeter, POW! right in the kisser with the stunning Grand Sport Heritage Package. The new Cyber Gray shows off the lines of the C6, as if the body had been carved from a solid chunk of pyrite or some material made by the BORG.

It took me a little bit to notice the ZR1 front splitter, rear spoilers, and rocker extensions. While I usually prefer polished or chrome wheels, the Competition Gray wheels work for this package. This is just one version of the Heritage Package. Other colors include Light Silver Metallic, Pearl White, or Victory Red. The Heritage Package and accessories will be available in early 2010.

The Grand Sports come in a variety of option packages that range from $54,770 for the 1LT, up to $62,475 for the 4LT package. The basic Corvette Coupe starts at $48,930 and for an extra $5,840 you’re into a Grand Sport. Think about it; the Grand Sport option price begins at $5,840. In 1973 the base price for a Corvette Coupe was $5,561 – $279 less than just the “option” on a 2010 Corvette.

Yea, but it kicks butt and looks like 185-mph!
