New Corvette Concept: Shades of the 2009 Corvette Stingray Concept?

A lot has happened since the last Corvette Concept Car came out in 2009. Tom Peters is on record stating that the 2009 Corvette Stingray Concept was NOT the C7 Corvette. Peters explained that the car was an exercise and opportunity for his designs to pour new ideas into a full-size, running, functioning car in 3D reality.

It looks like the Corvette designers are at it again, and there will be more concept Corvettes to come! Reminder: these are just “concepts” and are inherently “over the top”. Remember the ’80s Indy Corvette?

So, when was your “first” Corvette moment? Drop me a line and share your story! Send your email to… lightoak@comcast.net

But, what the 911 fans almost never mentioned was the price difference between the Porsche and Corvette. Sometimes, 911s have cost almost DOUBLE the cost of a Corvette. Was it “worth it”? That’s an argument that will never end.
