Corvette Chief Tony Roma Says Chevy Has No Plans to Offer an Electric Corvette For Now

The new  Corvette Chief, Tony Roma, has spoken, and the word is that there never was an ALL-ELECTRIC Corvette in the works. “Electrified”, as with the E-Ray and ZR1X, but no “all-electric” Corvette. 2026 Chevrolet Car Lineup: Fixing What’s Wrong with the C8 Corvette?

This is a concise overview of the entire 2026 Chevrolet lineup. Saddly, Camaro, Malibu, Impala, bu-bye. The title of this Motor Trend story is clickbait. There was nothing inherently wrong with the C8 from 2020 to 2025.

The new interior is part of the mid-cycle refresh that hasn’t happened since the 1990-1992 mid-cycle refresh. The Corvette team is just making the car better, here and there, mixing options up, changing paint colors, and generally keeping the brand interesting.

The Top & Bottom Of The Mid-Year Corvette Market On Bring a Trailer For Q2 2025

Here’s an interesting observation of the top and the bottom of the selling prices. All of the cars were “drivers” and no “Needs TLC” or basket cases. Of the top five, four of the Corvettes were coupes, and one was a convertible. Of the bottom five, all five were convertibles.
