Dynamic 2026 Corvette ZR1X, 2026 E-Ray, and 2026 Z06 Corvette. World-Class Supercar performance.2026 Corvette ZR1, Z06, & E-Ray Pricing With Options And Packages

Over the many decades, price increases for Corvettes often tracked economic inflation rates, even though only minor improvements were made to the vehicle. Yes, since 2020, inflation has impacted Corvettes. Equally important, in the last seven model years, we’ve seen performance leaps like we’ve never seen before.

The C4 ZR-1 was crazy expensive in its day, almost double the price of the base Corvette. The C5 only saw one performance advance, and it was a sweet one: the Z06. C6 unloaded a 427 Z06 with an aluminum frame, the supercharged ZR1, and the wide-body Grand Sport with the Z06 suspension. C7 was a repeat of C6’s performance leaps.

The C8 is an entirely different cat. We are now learning that the C8 Z06, E-Ray, ZR1, and ZR1X were all laid out while the C8 was in development from 2014 to 2019. And Corvette Chief Engineer, Tony Roma (Tadge Juechter’s replacement) recently said about the ZR1X, “… we’re not done with the C8 platform yet…” Say, what? Yes, that likely means Team Corvette has at least one more performance variation of the C8.

Let’s look at Pricing and Options

So, while we’re waiting for the next show to drop, we can chew on the below Pricing & Options documents. Enjoy!

Corvettes On Woodward 2025

The Corvette hobby has several established Corvette-only car show events. There’s Bloomington Gold in June, Corvettes On Woodward, Corvettes at Carlisle, and Mike Yager’s Corvette Funfest.

Corvettes on Woodward is part of the even bigger Woodward Dream Cruise that attracts more than 40,000 vehicles! It is arguably one of the biggest specialty cars show traffic jams. Here are two YouTube videos that show only a fraction of the Corvette action!

2029 C9 Corvette Concept Cars. Super dynamic design that screams CORVETTE!Corvette CX & CX.R: Dual 2,000 HP Concepts

It’s no secret that the C9 Corvette has been in development, likely since 2020 when the C8 came out. How close is the C9, and how many more years will the C8 be available? Probably only Tony Roma, Mark Ruess, and a few others know that answer.

In the meantime, Chevrolet has been teasing us with a series of Concept Corvettes. So far, they’ve all been very dynamic, but keep in mind that concept cars aren’t real cars that have to have crash standards, headlight height requirements, sufficient wheel travel in relationship between the wheel/tire size and the wheel well opening; you know, all that boring stuff.

Even so, when I first saw the latest Corvette CX and CX.R (the racing version), my immediate response was, “That sure looks like a Corvette!” Are any of the 2025 Corvette concept cars the C9? Most likely not. But one day, we’ll all know for sure. Until then, enjoy the computer-generated images.

2029 Electric Corvette Update - Chevy Won’t Build An Electric Corvette — Here’s WhyChevy Won’t Build An Electric Corvette — Here’s Why

It’s nice to hear the grounded voice of reason from the new Corvette Chief Engineer, Tony Roma. Could an all-electric Corvette smoke a 2026 ZR1X? Sure, electric motors can be built to as much torque and horsepower as all four tires stand. But it wouldn’t be a car you’d want to live with, much less be priced for the masses to sell. The Corvette team isn’t Porsche. The Corvette team has to design and build cars to sell. And sell lots and lots of them.

Notably, since you are hearing this from Chief Roma, I believe we can trust him. That doesn’t mean that hybrid-electric-assist can’t be developed further. It can. Perhaps we will see a C8 “ZR1-ZORA” wearing current ZR1X rear wheel 20” x 11” wheels shod with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 4S on the front, as needed because of a more powerful front motor.

Isn’t it great to see General Motors and Chevrolet so solidly behind Corvette? It wasn’t always this way.
