Rare Cars YouTube Channel Profiles the Baldwin-Motion Phase III Corvettes – VIDEO

The Rare Cars YouTube Channel is relatively new, with only 121 videos and around 88K subscribers. I’ve watched nearly all of their videos, and they are excellent. If you’re a motorhead and enjoy unusual performance cars, this is a treasure trove of video material.

Their latest video, “These RARE Custom Corvettes DESTROYED Everyone,” profiles the Baldwin-Motion Phase-III Corvettes. These were not subtle supercars. No, all the Baldwin-Motion were “IN YOUR FACE!” street supercars. In fact, for most Phase-III Corvettes, a good chunk of the price tag was special custom bodywork to accompany their outrageous (for their time) street-strip performance.

If you are not familiar with Joel Rosen and Marty Schorr’s Baldwin-Motion Supercars (Corvette, Camaro, Chevelle, Nova, and Vega), these Chevrolets were ordered brand-new from Baldwin Chevrolet on Long Island and modified to supercar performance levels and looks, by Rosen’s Motion Performance.

Rosen (right) built the cars and Schorr (left) created the branding, catalogs, marketing, and advertising in Hi-Performance CARS Magazine. These cars were “Mind-blowing, Man!” back in the day!

Enjoy the video. – Scott
