Why did St. Vincent Island Scoop America’s Sports Car From the USPS?

Dateline: 8.15.15 – It is ironic that a tiny, 150-square-mile island off the coast of South America would issue Corvette postage stamps 12 years before the United States Postal Service would do so. The block of 12 stamps showed 11 side-views of Corvettes and the 40th Anniversary logo as a celebration of the Corvette’s 40th birthday.
